Iran is willing to reinitiate atomic negotiations with the United States on condition that it is approached with "respect" and "honor", Iran's top diplomat has stated.
The Iranian diplomat said exclusively dialogue was effective, and shared new appeals had originated from mediators to resume talks with the Trump administration. He claimed Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Tehran had not yet reached a point to permit the International Atomic Energy Agency to inspect struck enrichment centers for safety concerns.
Araghchi is navigating a challenging course since Iran does not want be seen to be operating from a position of weakness, and he consistently maintained that Iran had come out more resilient defensively and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.
He was talking at a security conference in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to process nuclear material domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the main reason of the deadlock in the prior discussions.
The prior phases of negotiations between the United States and Iran were ended suddenly and bitter conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with Washington's assistance, attacked Tehran's atomic facilities in a 12-day war that concluded with the US president declaring the facilities had been obliterated. Subsequently, European countries employed their right to reimpose UN-wide sanctions, but Iran asserts they have not had a substantial consequence.
Iran's diplomats said they felt they had attained a "ideal resolution" to the uranium processing matter in earlier negotiations, when it was agreed an local partnership with US participation could process nuclear material. The two nations would have been able to assert triumph since home-based processing would have continued and the US could be confident that Iran's nuclear programme was exclusively peaceful.
It had not been agreed in the negotiations that US nuclear scientists could operate within Iranian territory, but that was a reasonable assumption of the partnership suggestion. In his remarks to the gathering, aimed to paint the US as a controlling nation that misuses the concept of global regulations, Araghchi said the 12-day war demonstrated the clash could not be resolved by armed force. He said the attacks started with a American requirement for an unconditional Iranian surrender and culminated with an absolute demand for a truce.
Iran is certain the first strikes by Israel were mounted with total Washington understanding and coordination, making trust challenging to reestablish.
Araghchi declared: "Tehran was not the one that had abandoned negotiations; it was the United States and the Western nations that had consistently sought to enforce their demands during the negotiations. Dialogue can still be viable and stays the final answer to address disputes, but its criteria, rules and principles must be followed."

The nation of Iran have grown more powerful, more cohesive, and more endorsing of the leadership and the state in the aftermath of this invasion."
